Melewar Steel Tube, a leading steel pipe and tube manufacturer in Malaysia with over 55 years of legacy, is looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive (Field Sales) to join our dynamic team. If you have the passion, energy, and hunger to grow - we want to meet you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular sales visits to the existing and potential customers to promote and sell our steel pipe and tube products.
  • Develop and grow sales in key market segments (construction, hardware, firefighting, air-conditioning, furniture, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Liaise closely with the indoor sales team to ensure the timely processing of quotations, orders and deliveries.
  • Ensure timely delivery and movement of goods to avoid aging inventory.
  • Coordinate with the QAQC team to ensure customer product quality requirements are met.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
  • Follow-up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection from customers.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales (experience in industrial or building materials is a plus).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving license.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin or Chinese dialects is an added advantage.
