Requirements:

Location: Penang, Malaysia (with regular travel across the Northern Region)

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a sales, business development, or area management role, preferably within the building materials, tiles, ceramics, or construction industry.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market trends, identify sales opportunities, and drive territory performance.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, dealers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in preparing sales forecasts, performance reports, and presenting to management.
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Confident in presentations, product demonstrations, and managing customer objections professionally.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player.

Other Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driving license and own transport; frequent travel within the region is expected.
  • Willing to travel across Northern states including Kedah, Perlis, Perak, and Penang as part of territory coverage.
