We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Operator join our dynamic team at STRATEQ GROUP. As a Systems Operator at our Data Centre, you will in ensuring the seamless operation, monitoring, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional, follow strict operational procedures, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the data center health via CCTV, EMS, Telco, Network, Backup, Replication and Servers events/alerts.
  • Perform periodical data center environment and floor checks.
  • Perform customer batch runs and tape out functions.
  • Carry out first level support for customers and escalate issues to internal support teams.
  • Monitor and manage the movement of customers and vendors in and out of the data center premises
  • Monitor and manage movement of equipment in and out of the data center premises.
  • Ensure the security of the data center is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure data center procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering/IT or the equivalent
  • Computer literacy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Experience in IT shift operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM2,800.00 per month
