About the role

Melati Wani Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor for a contract role based in Penang. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an active construction site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Site Supervisor (Contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Project Manager/ Construction Manager in monitoring and coordinating construction work at sites.
  • Responsible for work progress from beginning until handover project
  • Daily monitoring and coordinating construction work at site.
  • Ensure all work done in accordance to the specification in good workmanship practice and without delay on progress.
  • Controlling of resources such materials and ensure all material and machinery delivered to site confirm to the purchase order.
  • To ensure all workers comply with safety regulations on site.
  • Prepare and submit proper record of site diary, site measurement and project progress report.
  • Daily supervision and monitoring of workers, sub-con, machinery, materials at site.
  • To prepare and maintain up-to-date record on all materials at site.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by Project Manager/ Construction from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably with exposure to pipeline projects and road works.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently under pressure, handle multiple demands and meet deadlines.
  • The role will be based in Balik Pulau.
