About the role

As a Senior Site Supervisor (ID Construction) at Pena Builders Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of ID construction projects. This full-time position is based in Penang and will involve leading a team of skilled workers to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on-site.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, including carpenters, masons, and labourers
  2. Monitoring and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  3. Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
  4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and site procedures
  5. Providing regular progress updates to the project manager and other key stakeholders
  6. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance overall site efficiency
  7. Mentoring and developing less experienced members of the construction team

What we're looking for

  1. Substantial experience (8+ years) as a site supervisor or foreperson in the construction industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  5. Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
  6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and other construction documents
  7. Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
