The Opportunity

As a Finance Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial systems used across the group. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes from a systems perspective, as well as providing support to our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including Pay & Bill / General Ledger / Budgeting software, systems and databases.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems.
  • Provide technical support to the finance team for system-related issues.
  • Develop and implement system enhancements and upgrades, supported by industry standard testing methodologies, TDD etc.
  • Generate financial reports and analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system security and compliance.
  • Utilize SQL for database management and reporting.
  • Implement and manage Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data integration.
  • Leverage Azure services where appropriate for system optimization and scalability.
  • Liaise with software vendors and partners to enhance financial system capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Experience with financial operating processes, end of month / period routines.
  • Familiarity with chart of accounts, financial reporting standards and tax regimes.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and ERP software.
  • Proficiency in SQL, BI for database management and reporting.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure services.
  • Understanding of Pay and Bill processes and General Ledger knowledge.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
