About the role

Wasco AgroTech is seeking a talented Service to join our dynamic team in Sandakan, Sabah. This full-time position is a key role within our Mechanical Engineering division, responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of our services to customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Service Operation

  2. Plan, coordinate, and execute testing, commissioning, servicing , and maintenance of the company's products

  3. Ensure all service activities comply with established standards and customer requirements
  4. Monitor and maintain the efficiency and quality of day-to-day field and workshop operations

  5. Team Leadership & Development

  6. Lead and supervise service teams in the field and workshop

  7. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance support to ensure task completion and service excellence
  8. Foster a positive and productive team environment

  9. Customer Support & Communication

  10. Deliver training and technical support to end users and clients to ensure proper product use and maintenance

  11. Prepare and present clear and concise technical reports to customers
  12. Act as a liaison between the company and customers for service-related matters

  13. Sales & Application Support

  14. Collaborate with the sales and applications teams to provide technical support and insight during pre- and post-sales activities

  15. Assist in identifying service opportunities that support business development

  16. Administrative & Strategic Support

  17. Assist the management in the planning and execution of operational and workshop activities

  18. Participate in service planning, scheduling , and coordination efforts
  19. Carry out any other duties as assigned by management to support organizational goals

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a service management or technical support role within the Mechanical Engineering industry
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Manufacturing / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field
