Our client "ZPMC ENGINEERING (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD" is seeking a Senior Accounting Executive to join their team
What you'll be doing?
  • Financial Leadership: Oversee the entire financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Strategic Planning: Prepare financial statements and reports, develop budget plans, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance Champion: Manage tax filings and ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations.
  • Process Optimization: Assess workload distribution and implement efficient processes for various financial functions.
  • Team Development: Guide and support the Account Executive, fostering a well-organized and effective financial team.
  • Technological Innovation: Utilize SAP/ERP systems for financial reporting and analysis, driving data accuracy and process automation.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to provide a strong foundation for the role.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years in finance & accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership role, to bring valuable insights and expertise.
  • Industry Familiarity: Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or service industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance, along with experience in SAP / ERP financial systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English & Mandarin skills (spoken & written) to effectively coordinate with headquarters and diverse teams.
  • Versatile Approach: Ability to manage both strategic planning and day-to-day financial operations with a hands-on attitude.
