What you'll be doing?
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Financial Management: Perform monthly account closings and handle full-set accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Cost Analysis: Review and analyze sales, labor, and material variance reports, providing valuable insights for cost optimization.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work closely with production and warehouse teams to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Client Relations: Manage client billing and contract administration, maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and oversee financial budgets and forecasts, contributing to the company's strategic planning.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring timely recovery of sales amounts and maintaining sufficient liquidity.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely submission and payment of all statutory requirements, keeping the company in good standing.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to senior management, supporting informed decision-making.
  • E-invoicing Implementation: Set up and manage the e-invoicing system, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare financial statements, tax submissions, and relevant reports in accordance with Malaysian tax regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to business operations and internal controls, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of accounting experience, with exposure to various aspects of financial management.
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously under minimal supervision, meeting critical deadlines with confidence.
  • Audit Experience: Familiarity with annual audit processes, ensuring smooth and efficient audits.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with knowledge of Autocount and UBS systems being an advantage.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Mandarin proficiency is essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory.
