We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. This is a full-time position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations to the leadership team to support decision-making
  • To establish costing and advise on which project is profitable and identify cost savings area
  • Responsible for processing and recording all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Maintaining and forecasting cash flow day to day transaction
  • Collecting and analyzing data about a company's operational costs
  • Setting standard costs of manufactured goods
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's financial strategy
  • To perform any other related duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

What we're looking for

  • Relevant professional qualification, such as degree in Accounting or Finance, is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English and ability to communicate, read and write in Mandarin (to liaise with China counterpart)
