Position: Manager/Senior Manager - Accountant & Finance

Location: Batang Kali, Selangor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely management reports.

  • Tax Compliance: Timely submission of tax returns, monthly GST, and other statutory compliances.

  • Team Supervision: Oversee accounting staff for general accounting functions.

  • Invoice Verification: Check and verify invoices to ensure accuracy in data entries.

  • Policy & Procedure Review: Assist in developing and reviewing internal operating policies, inventory, and cost control.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Responsible for the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.

  • Analysis & Reporting: Perform operational and financial analysis, and review key performance indicators.

  • Consolidation & Statutory Accounts: Consolidate group accounts and prepare statutory accounts.

  • Cost Analysis: Perform expenses/overhead, sales, and cost analysis.

  • Debtor Management: Prepare monthly debtor aging reports and statements.

  • Weekly Reporting: Submit accurate weekly reports to the supervisory team.

  • File & System Management: Ensure effectiveness of filing and daily operations.

  • Other Assignments: Perform additional tasks as required by management.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

  • Experience: - Relevant experience in a Finance-related role within a manufacturing industry.

Skills:

  • Meticulous in figures.

  • Strong communication skills (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in data collection, organization, and analysis.

Work Style: Independent, logical, and systematic with minimal supervision.
