Job Description

Business Development & Sales Growth


• Develop and execute strategies to increase café revenue beyond in-store sales.


• Identify and secure new sales channels such as:

o Corporate & MNC contracts (meetings, catering, staff meals).

o Government agencies & schools (canteens, functions, events).

o Special functions (weddings, birthdays, seminars, parties).

o Pop-up sales & booths at events, malls, and expos.

o Grab & Go concepts, food delivery platforms (Grab, Foodpanda, ShopeeFood).


• Negotiate contracts and manage key client relationships.


• Prepare proposals and presentations for potential partners.

Marketing & Customer Retention


• Work with the marketing team to plan promotions, loyalty programs, and campaigns.


• Support content creation for social media, pop-up promotions, and seasonal offerings.


• Monitor customer feedback and implement retention strategies.

Event & Catering Management


• Design and execute café catering packages (panini, snacks, drinks, grab-and-go).


• Coordinate logistics for on-site functions, pop-up events, and bulk orders.


• Build a portfolio of repeat clients through consistent quality and service.

Expansion & Growth Strategy


• Conduct market research to identify café expansion opportunities in Penang and beyond.


• Contribute to café franchising/licensing model by documenting sales playbooks.


• Support management in developing long-term café business growth plans.
