1 Report To Superior / Assistant Purchasing Manager or Manager

2 Maintain consistent application of company policies, ISO procedures and shop floor rules.

3 Ensure related documents are strictly compliance to the SOP requirement and properly achieved and It can be ready for audit purpose at all time

4 Lead and implement Sourcing framework and key processes, and develop strategic supply base.

5 Obtain quotes from local & oversea suppliers, and negotiate price, quantity, and lead times to select competitive and competent suppliers

6 To setup a new approved supplier account in the system.

7 Organize and update the supplier database, and manage and maintaining new approved suppliers in the systems

8 Assist new FA part submission or alternate supplier FA part submission to ensure approval has obtained before purchase.

9 Work with QA/PDD on Supplier Quality Assessment on all critical materials and participate supplier audit when necessary.

10 Propose Alternate Source For Single Source Purchase Or Problematic Supplier.

11 Evaluate key supplier performance on quality standards, order lead time & best prices.

12 Identify supplier risks in terms of quality, delivery, cost and capacity and lead efforts to address those risks

13To compile and analyze the quote with summary matrix proposal send to requestor.

14To resolve any cost, quality, and delivery issues from suppliers

15Participate in monthly supplier performance review meeting and provide input on supplier responsive in RFQ.

16 Ensure Meeting Department KPI And Strive For Continuous Improvement Plan

17 Any other responsibility which may be assigned by Department Head from time to time 18 Support Commodity Manager to determine price forecasts for budget cycles

19 Manage supplier relationship and perform supplier feedback periodically.

20 Work on the cost reduction to meet customer price.

21 Responsible for data base integrity within management assigned area of responsibility. 22 Visits suppliers as leader of a supplier qualification team to determine if source are capable of meeting present or future company needs.

Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess sound technical knowledge, at least diploma/Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in engineering / material science or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in sheet metal fabrication industry or related field will be an added advantage
  • Required skills: Negotiation skills, good team player and commodity sourcing in purchasing.
  • Required language(s): Chinese, English, Bahasa Malaysia

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
