Account cum Admin Executive

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account cum HR Admin Executive to support operations at our Malaysia office. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, work well both independently and collaboratively, and have a sharp eye for accuracy, we do love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Accounting
- Handle daily accounting operations, including data entry, journal postings, and maintenance of general ledger.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and staff claims.
- Issue invoices and ensure timely collections.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary as required.
- Knowledge of income tax, CP204, and other accounting-related compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies and implementation of digital e-invoicing systems.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
Administration and Human Resource
- Handle full sets of import/export shipping and L/C banking documents independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage office administrative functions such as procurement of office supplies, maintenance, vendor coordination and filing (both hardcopy and electronic).
- Support management in day-to-day office operations and ad hoc assignments.
- Coordinate company meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics when necessary.
- Track the allocation of company property and assets to employees.
- Handle monthly payroll processing, including statutory deductions and contributions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Computer literacy is essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Knowledge of Xero, NetSuite and experience in a full set of accounts is an advantage.
- Fluency in both verbal and written Chinese (Cantonese) and English are mandatory.
