We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account cum HR Admin Executive to support operations at our Malaysia office. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, work well both independently and collaboratively, and have a sharp eye for accuracy, we do love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Accounting

  • Handle daily accounting operations, including data entry, journal postings, and maintenance of general ledger.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and staff claims.
  • Issue invoices and ensure timely collections.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary as required.
  • Knowledge of income tax, CP204, and other accounting-related compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies and implementation of digital e-invoicing systems.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Administration and Human Resource

  • Handle full sets of import/export shipping and L/C banking documents independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage office administrative functions such as procurement of office supplies, maintenance, vendor coordination and filing (both hardcopy and electronic).
  • Support management in day-to-day office operations and ad hoc assignments.
  • Coordinate company meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics when necessary.
  • Track the allocation of company property and assets to employees.
  • Handle monthly payroll processing, including statutory deductions and contributions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Computer literacy is essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Knowledge of Xero, NetSuite and experience in a full set of accounts is an advantage.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Chinese (Cantonese) and English are mandatory.
