The Role

Non-Technical Training plays a critical role in driving the development, delivery, and optimization

of non-technical training programs for the smart and Proton e.MAS brands. This position ensures

that the dealership network's sales specialists, managers, and customer-facing staff are

equipped with essential soft skills, product knowledge, competitive insights, and customer

service capabilities to meet brand expectations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development & Management:

  • Design, develop, and implement non-technical training programs (e.g., onboarding, brand immersion, sales techniques, customer service).
  • Manage the delivery of biweekly online refresher quizzes and monthly assessments for sales specialists.
  • Align training modules with National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) goals and market trends.
  • Ensure continuous content updates for all models.

Competitor Insights & Market Analysis:

  • Coordinate competitor analysis training to equip sales staff with up-to-date knowledge of EVs, ICEs, and autopilot systems.
  • Support knowledge-sharing activities for the e.MAS Dynamic Test Drive event and dealership touchpoints.

Training Administration & Compliance:

  • Manage the LMS system for training records, reporting, and tracking participation for the Proton e.MAS brand.
  • Ensure programs are HRDF-compliant and prepare relevant documentation for certifications.
  • Forecast and manage training budgets in alignment with organizational goals and departmental KPIs.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work with product and technical teams to enhance EV education and customer journey mapping.
  • Engage with external trainers and vendors for specialized training programs and industry certifications.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives through post-training tests, quizzes, and feedback sessions.
  • Continuously improve training delivery methods to align with evolving market demands and customer expectations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on training impact, attendance, and progress towards HRDF certification goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in training, learning & development, product expert or product marketing in Automotive.
  • Strong understanding of Automotive industry specifically on EV market trends, customer service excellence, and competitor insights.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments and with external partners.
