Role Overview
Join the
Procurement Team
as a
Procurement Sourcing Intern
and gain hands-on experience in the end-to-end sourcing process. This role provides valuable exposure to procurement operations, contract management, and negotiation practices within a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • RFx Process Support: Assist in executing RFx processes including drafting RFx documents, sending invitations to vendors, consolidating responses, and analyzing vendor quotations.
  • Commercial Negotiation Support: For sourcing below RM250k, support in negotiating commercial terms and conditions in line with organizational policies and requirements.
  • Analysis & Recommendation: Prepare summary reports and recommendation documents for review by senior associates and managers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and provide feedback on opportunities to enhance operational efficiency within procurement workflows.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for documentation and vendor correspondence.
  • Attention to Detail: Organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple sourcing tasks effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: A proactive team player with the ability to work collaboratively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
