The company offers a variety of products, including gas detection systems, valves, fuel dispensers, and pipeline equipment. Hablem is based in Kuala Lumpur and employs 30 dedicated professionals.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in WP. Kuala Lumpur for a Procurement Intern. The Procurement Intern will be responsible for assisting with creating and managing purchase orders, evaluating supplier performance, and supporting contract negotiations. Additionally, the intern will analyze procurement data and provide administrative support to the procurement team.

1) Assist to ensure enquiries send to the correct supplier / origins.

2) Assist to follow-up with supplier to make sure we received their quotation before the closing date and time.

3) Assist to ensure submission of quotation to client on the specified closing date and time.

4) Assist to check the price, technical specification and other terms and conditions before submit to client.

5) Assist to response on any other clarification relating to enquiries/ quotation/ PO/delivery status.

6) Assist to check the prices, technical specification and other term conditions on PO received from client and PO to supplier.

7) Assist to negotiate with supplier on price discount and payment term.

8) Working together with Logistic Department on tax and freight charges.

9) Working together with Engineering team on the technical issue.

Qualifications

  • Skills in creating and managing Purchase Orders and Contract Negotiation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
