The Service Desk Engineer serves as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance with IT-related issues or requests via phone or email. You'll ensure smooth service by routing cases to the right technical teams while using your bilingual skills to support diverse clients and grow your expertise in IT support.

Job Description

  • Primary responsibility is 1st level assistance to Japanese clients on IT related support and enquiries.
  • Respond to assigned tickets, emails, calls and/or voicemail.
  • Follow standard Service Desk Support Operating Procedures: Accurately logging all Service Desk tickets using the defined tracking software.
  • Translate Japanese document into English and vice versa
  • Be familiar with support policies and services.
  • Be familiar with the operational and technical departments of key customers.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Service Desk Manager and Team Leaders.
  • Attend all training sessions.

Job Requirements

  • Open for Malaysian citzen ONLY
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written in Mandarin OR Korean is a MUST
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts
  • Good in client service oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in Japanese and English to customers and team members.
  • Ability to utilize the applications for Microsoft Office for support, reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to provide support via the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous client service experience (especially in Sales) strongly desired.
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Must believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative.
  • Able to takes initiative, accepts accountability and has a sense of urgency

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
