Position Title: Senior Accountant

Reports To: Finance Manager

Location: Dynasynergy Technology Sdn Bhd

Department: Finance

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing key accounting functions, including financial reporting and month-end/year-end closing. This role ensures accuracy in financial records, supports cash flow management, and provides critical insights to management for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare P&L reports and finalise monthly management accounts.
  • Finalize cash flow records and ensure reconciliations are accurate.
  • Maintain schedules for income, expenses, staff claims and other related P&L accounts.

Bank & Payment Transactions

  • Key in BA/BG journals and prepare bank letters.
  • Manage banking matters, including loan facilities, bankers' acceptances, annual reviews, and responding to bank queries.

Month-End & Year-End Closing

  • Finalize closing for all P&L reports.
  • Reconcile accounts with staff claims.
  • Ensure all accounting transactions are complete and accurate for reporting.

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records for audit purposes.
  • Assist auditors with queries related to accounting.
  • Liaise with the Company Secretary on statutory filings, compliance matters, and corporate governance requirements.

Other Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support Finance team with ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
  • Supervise junior finance staff or interns as required.

Pay: From RM3,600.00 per month
