Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the overall strategic direction for the Environment, Health, Safety, and Facilities (EHSF) function, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the EHSF team by setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional growth.
  • Present regular reports to senior management covering facility operations, regulatory compliance, project updates, and budget performance.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of the annual operating and capital budgets for the EHSF department, promoting fiscal discipline and cost efficiency.
  • Plan and supervise facility expansion, renovation, and construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, regulatory submissions, and contractor management.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient operations of all facilities, infrastructure, and critical systems such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and water systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance reliability and longevity of equipment.
  • Lead sustainability and environmental initiatives to increase energy efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize the company's environmental impact.
  • Establish, implement, and enforce corporate EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO
  • Monitor departmental expenses, analyze variances, and apply cost-saving measures without compromising safety or operational quality.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, ensuring full compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
  • Track and evaluate EHS performance metrics and incident reports, driving continuous improvement across all operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Occupational Safety & Health.
  • At least 15 years of experience in EHS and Facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and plant systems.
  • Strong understanding of EHS regulations and international safety and environmental standards.
  • Proven skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and project leadership.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and hands-on leadership approach with the ability to drive operational excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM15, RM20,000.00 per month
