Our client "QDOS Flexcircuits Sdn Bhd" is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading electronics manufacturing company where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining quality management systems and ensuring compliance with international standards. You'll work with diverse stakeholders to drive continuous improvement while supporting audits and managing critical quality documentation processes.

What you'll be doing?

• Quality management oversight: Ensure QMS documents are adequately reviewed, approved, and stored to be accessible by all stakeholders throughout the company.
• Audit support: Assist the QMS manager during customer, certification body, and internal audits, ensuring thorough preparation and smooth execution.
• Compliance management: Collaborate closely with engineering, purchasing, quality, and sales teams to address RoHS/REACH compliance requirements for customers promptly.
• Calibration oversight: Systematically monitor equipment calibration according to Master list schedules to maintain measurement accuracy.
• Document control: Review, register, update, and distribute quality system documents to ensure full compliance with QDOS documentation system requirements.
• Continuous improvement: Analyze quality documents at all levels with internal teams for annual improvement initiatives.
• Records management: Ensure proper archiving of quality records in designated areas according to retention periods.
• Process auditing: Support the QMS manager in conducting various audits across operations as needed.
• External audit management: Handle external audits with professional coordination and preparation.
• Regulatory compliance: Submit RoHS/REACH compliant documents and meet all customer requirements within specified timeframes.
• Supplier quality support: Assist the purchasing team with supplier audits to maintain supply chain quality standards.
• Quality system maintenance: Continuously improve quality management systems to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related field to provide a solid technical foundation.
• Professional experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance roles or as a chemical process engineer within electronics manufacturing industry
• Problem-solving skills: Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving tools for effective issue resolution.
• Standards knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO standards and other relevant quality management standards.
• Quality methodologies: Familiarity with quality improvement approaches such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Audit expertise: Knowledge of document control and audit processes including RBA/TISAX requirements.
• Statistical analysis: Understanding of statistical process control and failure mode analysis for data-driven decisions.
• SOP development: Ability to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for consistent quality standards.
• Industry knowledge: Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and quality requirements is beneficial.
• Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy in quality documentation and process management.
• Communication skills: Excellent ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external auditors.
• Analytical thinking: Strong capacity for identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.
