Responsibilities:

*Electrical works including overhaul, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery problems

*Ensure machinery are maintained according to schedule

*Continue improving the efficiency of the machinery to increase productivity and profitability of the operation

*Check and conduct test running manually if necessary

*Maintain and check lighting, sockets, and electrical fittings

*Daily checking of all riser switchboards

*Examine, note in schematic reports of electric circuits in park lamps, roads and pillar feeders

*Repair, re-looping, installing, repairing and replacing defective components or appliances in street lights and 3 phase feeder pillar

*Lead workers coordinating electrical projects

*Collaborate with engineers and computer coders for smart automation

*Attend technical meetings with customers

*Responsible for ensuring crew safety in basic or skylift work

*Supervise electrical work

*Involve in Pre and Post Tender activity

*Perform maintenance job to all technical components such as DB, lighting, cable, etc.

*Perform installation of temporary power supply at new site

*Act as person in-charge for any works related to electricity

Requirements:

*Certificate (Category: PW4) or Diploma from certified institutions

*At least 1 year experience in construction or manufacturing industry

*Appropriate electrical training and certified qualification in the electrical field is an added advantage

*Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

*Independent with strong sense of responsibility and initiative

*Matured personality, enthusiastic, team player and able to work under pressure

*Have valid driving license and willing to travel

Additional Duties:

*Maintain and repair machine and electrical control & wiring

*Troubleshoot plant electrical and mechanical issues

*Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment (motor, pump, conveyor etc.)

*Conduct testing work for new and existing products

*Prepare applicable documentation for each task performed

*Troubleshoot and rework faulty equipment; estimate and report repairing timeline

*Conduct and assist in installation, testing, commissioning at site including cabling works

*Supervise assembly works conducted by operator where applicable

*Perform preventative maintenance at site on a regular schedule

*Perform urgent corrective maintenance when required

*Log and report all services and progress to management and end user

*Liaise with vendors, suppliers and end user in completing tasks given where applicable

*Perform other duties as given
