The Role

In today's AI-driven marketing landscape, copywriting is no longer a skill-based craft — it's a performance role. We believe words are not written for beauty, 
but for strategy, persuasion, and conversions.

This isn't a role for journalists or wordsmiths who write elegantly for the sake of it. We're looking for a copy-strategist — someone who understands business objectives, audience psychology, and can translate a brand's product USPs into angles that convert across platforms.

You'll be the strategic backbone of campaigns — shaping messaging direction, working closely with designers, and sometimes leading them — to bring ideas to life across digital, social, and performance-driven channels. This is a role for those who want to drive measurable results, not just deliver creative output.

What You'll Do

  • Develop campaign strategies and creative angles that bridge brand storytelling with conversion goals.
  • Craft high-performing copy across ads, landing pages, emails, web, organic content, and more - focused on driving clicks, leads, and sales.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and media buying teams to ensure copy, creative, and targeting work cohesively.
  • Translate strategies into clear, actionable campaign concepts, aligned with audience motivations and platform formats.
  • Optimise messaging using data and performance insights, refining what works through testing and iteration.
  • Lead or guide creative execution direction with designers (depending on experience and capacity).

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of experience in copywriting, creative strategy, or performance marketing.
  • If you're a general strategist or sales/marketing specialist who's confident in leading copy and campaign direction - even without traditional copywriting experience - we're open to exploring your fit. We believe the evolving marketing landscape no longer requires a purely skill-based background to perform well in this role.
  • If you don't have a relevant portfolio, please include a cover letter that demonstrates your thought process, campaign understanding, or strategic insight - this helps us assess your suitability objectively.
  • Strong grasp of marketing funnels, audience psychology, and digital platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and web.
  • Effective in Chinese is a bonus - e.g. for copywriting on Xiao Hong Shu (小红书)
  • Ability to turn business goals and insights into high-performing creative concepts.
  • A mix of creativity and data sense - you think in hooks, angles, and performance metrics.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable leading discussions on creative direction and messaging logic.
