Our client "SH Cogent Logistics Sdn Bhd" is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead comprehensive warehouse operations in a dynamic 3PL logistics environment. You'll oversee end-to-end warehouse management while driving operational excellence, managing cross-functional teams, and contributing to strategic business growth through efficient inventory management and client relationship development.

What you'll be doing?

• Inventory management excellence: Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure and maintain optimal inventory accuracy while implementing best practices for stock control.
• Comprehensive operations oversight: Manage complete end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and reverse logistics to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyze inventory data comprehensively, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to enhance stock control and operational decision-making.
• Process optimization: Optimize warehouse processes systematically to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency while maintaining service quality standards.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams to align inventory processes with overall business objectives and ensure integrated operations.
• Financial management: Ensure timely and accurate billing for all logistics services while achieving financial objectives through budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis.
• System compliance and best practices: Ensure strict compliance with Warehouse Management System requirements and adopt industry best practices for operational excellence.
• Strategic recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations based on comprehensive inventory analysis to enhance inventory management strategies.
• Client reporting: Prepare detailed inventory and stock reconciliation reports for both management and clients, maintaining transparency and accountability.
• Safety and standards implementation: Implement 5S practices to maintain safety, cleanliness, and security while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations.
• Team leadership and development: Lead and train warehouse staff effectively, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and achievement of operational goals.
• Distribution oversight: Oversee distribution operations ensuring alignment with company policies, industry standards, and applicable laws and safety guidelines.
• Business development: Meet with clients regularly to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities for new business development and growth.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational foundation: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant disciplines to provide solid understanding of logistics principles.
• Extensive experience: At least 5 years of inventory experience specifically in 3PL warehouse/distribution environments to ensure practical knowledge of complex operations.
• WMS expertise: Expert proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems with implementation and optimization experience being highly advantageous.
• Technical competencies: Strong experience in inventory mapping, reconciliation, and inventory and location accuracy improvement to maintain operational precision.
• Analytical capabilities: Proven ability to analyze stock data effectively, identify discrepancies accurately, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Leadership experience: Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to manage, motivate, and develop warehouse teams effectively.
• Language proficiency: Fluency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin is essential, with Mandarin proficiency being particularly important to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.
