bout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Moulding / Tooling Manager to lead and manage all activities related to injection moulding and tooling operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in tooling design, maintenance, and process optimization, with a focus on product quality, efficiency, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the moulding and tooling department, ensuring smooth production and optimal equipment performance.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor mould maintenance, repairs, and improvements to minimize downtime.
  • Manage tooling design, fabrication, and modification activities in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
  • Ensure mould setup, parameter optimization, and process validation are carried out effectively for new and existing products.
  • Lead troubleshooting of moulding and tooling issues to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to support new product development and process improvements.
  • Establish and implement preventive maintenance programs for moulds and tooling equipment.
  • Manage and train a team of technicians and engineers to ensure skill development and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tool & Die Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in rubber or plastic injection moulding, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in mould design, tooling fabrication, and injection moulding processes.
