Account cum Human Resource Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Handle statutory submissions, tax filings, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare management reports, budgets, and financial analyses to support business decisions.
  • Maintain and update accounting systems, ensuring accurate data entry, reconciliation, and document control.
  • Oversee human resource operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, leave management, and employee records.
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, HR letters, and ensure compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act and related regulations.
  • Coordinate employee performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and training programs.
  • Handle staff claims, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRDF contributions accurately and on time.
  • Assist management in implementing HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  • Liaise with government agencies, banks, and external service providers for both accounting and HR-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or HR functions.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and HR-related statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax compliance, and employment regulations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
