About the role

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Customer Service Executive (Shipping) to join our dynamic team at Greenworld Shipping Sdn Bhd, based in Klang, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients in the freight and cargo forwarding industry.

Job Scopes:

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist customers with the coordination and tracking of shipments, providing regular updates on the status of their deliveries
  • Respond to customer complaints and concerns, working to resolve issues efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery of shipments and provide customers with accurate information
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and shipment details
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and suggest improvements to processes and procedures
  • Provide support for other administrative tasks as required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the freight or logistics industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software, and shipping management platforms
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
