Technical Trainer – AMR, PLC, and Robotics

Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs related to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Industrial Robotics. Ensures that trainees gain hands-on technical competence aligned with industrial standards and Industry 4.0 practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on AMR navigation, PLC programming, robotics integration, and control systems.
  • Design and update training modules, manuals, and assessments according to industrial and educational standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during hands-on lab sessions, ensuring safe and effective learning environments.
  • Evaluate trainee performance, provide feedback, and prepare certification reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate real-world automation projects into training modules.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate training equipment, robots, and PLC setups.
  • Assist in research, testing, and demonstration of new automation technologies.
  • Conduct industry or client-based customized training sessions when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, or robotics system integration (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi), robot systems (e.g., Aiten and Duco Robot), and AMR configuration.
  • Possession of a Train the Trainer (TTT) Certificate
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and guide trainees effectively.

Training & Development:

No experience? No problem — comprehensive training will be provided locally with our in-house engineers. For advanced specialization, trainers may also be sent overseas for professional training and certification with international partners.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
