Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for multiple large-scale hotel & resort interior design and fit-out projects (RM10mil – RM200mil).
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, design coordination, execution, monitoring, cost control, risk management, and closure.
  • Lead project planning using Microsoft Project (or equivalent tools) to ensure accurate scheduling, resource allocation, and timely delivery.
  • Ensure all projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the key liaison with project owners, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
  • Drive project progress through regular site visits, project reviews, and steering meetings with stakeholders.
  • Oversee preparation of project costing, budgets, cash flow forecasts, schedules, and executive progress reports for Management.
  • Monitor contractors' progressive claims, certifications, and payments to ensure financial control and contractual compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the project management team to ensure alignment with company goals, high performance, and professional growth.
  • Establish, review, and continuously improve project management processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide regular reporting and updates directly to the Managing Director/Group CEO/Group Deputy CEO on project portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles within Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects exceeding RM10mil, preferably hotel & resort projects.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Project (or equivalent project planning software) for scheduling and resource management.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Willing to travel frequently and be stationed at project sites (including outstation) when required.

Working Hour:

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm,

Saturday 9am-3pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10, RM15,000.00 per month
