Our client is a regulated and one of leading Finance Institutions with headquarter in Australia since 2011, with international offices and 200 professional team across the regions. The Malaysia team with over 20 professionals in Sales, Risk, Customers and Accounting teams.

They are seeking a highly detail-oriented and reliable Payments Officer to join the account team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth processing of payment transactions and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any payment-related issues. The ideal candidate is meticulous, patient, and a strong communicator with a solid understanding of payment procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily balances across various payment channels and update internal records accordingly.
  • Verify customer application details and ensure all submitted information meets compliance.
  • Ensure consistency between clients' deposit and withdrawal methods.
  • Select appropriate payment channels and execute payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Update transaction statuses and payment details in internal systems.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Compliance, Customer Service, Account Team) to resolve payment-related issues.
  • Liaise with external payment providers to maintain smooth operations and promptly address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Handle urgent or priority payment requests effectively while maintaining accuracy.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet tight deadlines and ensure smooth payment processing.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

  • Working shift hours (rotate monthly): Morning shift: 8am - 5pm / Night shift: 3pm - 12am (night shift allowance: MYR 70 per day)

  • Public Holidays: Work will be required

  • Meal & Travel allowance: MYR 300

Job Requirement:

  • Fresh graduate or 1 - 2 years' working experience, those with payment gateway or audit experience will have added advantage.

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM/STPM/Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance

  • A positive, supportive, can-do attitude

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Passion for technology

  • Reading and writing in both English and Mandarin is a must

  • Working location KL area, walk 2 mins to LRT station
