About the Role

The Growth Director is a pivotal, client-facing leadership role dedicated to spearheading new business growth and cultivating strategic alliances with executive-level clients. This position demands visionary strategic acumen and authoritative commercial direction to propel the agency's expansion into creative, social, media services, and AI-powered technology innovations. The ideal candidate is dynamic, commercially savvy, and experienced in winning new business, building high-value partnerships, and delivering integrated marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Champion the identification, pursuit, and capture of high-impact new business opportunities spanning creative, social, media, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Orchestrate and execute robust growth strategies to amplify the agency's client portfolio and revenue trajectory.
  • Leverage an expansive executive network and deep market intelligence to position the agency as the undisputed leader in competitive landscapes.
  • Direct and inspire cross-functional pitch teams to craft and deliver persuasive, high-stakes proposals and presentations that secure transformative deals.
  • Propel exceptional new business win rates by masterfully articulating and advocating for the agency's premier marketing and technology prowess to C-suite prospects.
  • Vigilantly scout and seize expansion avenues within existing client portfolios, guiding the adoption of complementary services and innovative solutions.

Client Leadership

  • Serve as a point of contact, providing strategic counsel and ensuring high standards of delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders to unlock new opportunities and deepen partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop integrated strategies that align with client objectives.

Strategic & Commercial Planning

  • Contribute to the agency's growth strategy by identifying market trends, client needs, and innovation opportunities.
  • Align all business development imperatives with enduring revenue maximization and profitability mandates, ensuring fiscal discipline and strategic foresight.
  • Deliver executive-level insights through comprehensive reporting to senior leadership on sales momentum, pipeline vitality, and emergent market dynamics.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Spearhead seamless orchestration across creative, media, social, and AI divisions to guarantee the flawless integration and deployment of end-to-end solutions.
  • Mentor, empower, and elevate emerging talent, instilling leadership principles in business development and client stewardship.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.

Innovation & AI Solutions

  • Evangelize the agency's cutting-edge AI-powered visual analytics as a cornerstone of client transformation agendas.
  • Inspire and enlighten executive audiences on leveraging disruptive technologies to accelerate brand ascendancy, operational supremacy, and competitive differentiation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in winning new business in a marketing, creative, or media agency.
  • 15+ years in client management, business development, or sales strategy roles.
  • Strong knowledge of creative, social, media services; experience with AI or tech is a plus.
  • Strong network and ability to build senior client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded with good financial skills.
  • Proven track record of directing high-performing teams and steering complex, integrated initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or similar; MBA is a plus.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM25,000.00 per month
