Overview:

As a Bartender you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Drink Preparation and Service:

  • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company recipes and customer preferences.
  • Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all menu items, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.

Customer Service:

  • Greet guests promptly and engage with them to create a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Take orders and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences and the menu.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.

Bar Maintenance:

  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and managing inventory.
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any issues to the manager.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, including maintaining cleanliness standards and practicing responsible alcohol service.

Cash Handling:

  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
  • Maintain an organized cash register and reconcile the till at the end of the shift.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role in the hospitality industry preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
