Full job description

Job Description:

Identify and engage new customers while maintaining relationships with existing ones.

Develop connections with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.

Meet with buyers and decision-makers to gather sales enquiries and register the company as an approved supplier.

Review customer contracts and project requirements from both commercial and technical aspects.

Negotiate contract terms and project details that are not cost-effective, are unfavorable, or exceed company capabilities.

Support quotation preparation, including cost and lead time estimations, and review of drawings, technical specs, and commercial terms.

Communicate clear order requirements to internal departments to ensure smooth fulfilment.

Resolve post-order issues such as delays, quality concerns, requirement changes, and payment disputes through negotiation.

Record and confirm customer instructions for any order changes or deviations.

Monitor and manage order progress to control costs, update customers, and ensure timely delivery.

Expedite orders and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize delays.

Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in bolting, piping, structural steel, or a related industry.

Diploma or higher qualification in any field.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin, to liaise with both local and international staff.

5-day work week.
