Job Summary

Liyana & Co., a boutique law firm renowned for its attentive legal services and authentic client engagement on social media, is seeking a diligent , skilled , highly motivated and proactive Litigation Lawyer/Legal Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will support various legal functions, including client and case management, legal documentation and filing, court and mediation support, administrative duties, and content creation for social media platforms.

This role demands a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

The Litigation Lawyer/Legal Associate will be instrumental in ensuring smooth legal operations, timely updates to clients, and effective communication within the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their legal career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Description: -

1.Go getter, street smart with a good attitude towards learning,

2.In depth knowledge and passion for law.

3.Has the ability to work under pressure, and multi-task with minimal supervision;

4.Excellent legal research skills

5.Creative thinking towards problem solving

6.Assist with on-going cases, business activities and liaising with clients and third parties.

7.Passionate about law and can withstand the pressure of being a professional problem solver.

8. A highly motivated leader who can assist the Partners to lead the team to success.

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. Able to do getting up and conduct full trials independently
  2. Fluent in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia
  3. Minimum 3 years experience after called to the BAR mainly in commercial and general litigation.
  4. Good working attitude, diligent, hardworking, reliable, responsible and commitment to job responsibilities and meticulous with details
  5. Possess valid license and own car
  6. Presentable and professional in appearance

    7.Punctual and good leadership skills.
