- Create, develop, and set up menus, including seasonal specials and cost-effective dishes.
- Supervise kitchen staff, assign tasks, and ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards according to company SOP and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor food inventory, manage stock levels, and prepare purchasing requests when necessary.
- Control food costs and reduce wastage through proper planning and portion control.
- Train and guide new and existing kitchen staff to improve skills and performance.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained properly and report issues immediately.
- Work closely with management to implement new menu ideas, promotions, and improvements.
- Proven working experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef.
- Strong knowledge in cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety.
- Creativity in menu planning and recipe development.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train the kitchen team.
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak business hours.
