Responsibility

  • Inventory control: Oversee the day-to-day management of stock, including ordering, receiving, and storing products to ensure optimal levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Record maintenance: Ensure the accuracy of inventory records through regular audits and the use of inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Forecasting and analysis: Analyze sales data and trends to forecast future inventory needs and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Process improvement: Develop and implement inventory control procedures, policies, and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supplier and team coordination: Work with suppliers to manage orders and collaborate with internal departments like sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods.
  • Staff management: Train, supervise, and manage the inventory staff to meet business goals and address any personnel issues.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Strong background in inventory management and supply chain logistics.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and other relevant technology.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, or any relevant field of study.

  • Required skill(s): MS Excel (Pivot & Vlookup).

  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English. Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Subang Jaya.
