Responsibilities

  • We're hiring for our subsidiary company based in Bukit Raja.
  • Responsible to ensure inventory are kept at optimum level
  • Prepare inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks
  • Ensure that inventories are constantly up to standards
  • Ensure that whatever merchandise are received meet order specifications
  • Create purchase plan; ensuring the availability of stocks when needed
  • Responsible for forecasting company's future stock needs
  • Set up operation standards for all subordinates to follow
  • Ensure proper management of aging, returns and excess stocks
  • Review service levels regularly
  • Respond to complaints and queries concerning inventories and products
  • Prepare and submit inventory control reports to supervisor and management
  • Alert when high volume on certain day and provide advice to monitor floor planning
  • Provide assistance and direction to colleagues and subordinates as required
  • Report and analyze data and present results to senior managers when necessary
  • Involve in festive planning and communicate with entire department to ensure planning in order
  • Investigate complaints of stores
  • Work closely with Merchandising team of existing vendors and new vendors or new item and promotion planning
  • Managing promotion allocation planning to avoid overloaded at any day. To ensure team share the promo order date, delivery date and quantity agreed with entire vendors
  • Involve in special project for improvement and participate in Supply Chain Committee
  • Perform other job-related duties as and when requested by Superior
  • Participate continual Process improvement activities
  • Conduct floor Audits on regular basis

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree/Master's
  • At least 7-8 years of working experience in logistics (Managing 3PL operations, warehouse and distribution).
  • System: SAP and WMS.
    • Candidate must be able to negotiate and communicate effectively.
    • Proficient in Analytical skill, Problem Solving and Decision Making.
    • Good leadership.
    • Computer literacy with understanding on MS office (MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Required work in Rotational shift
