Job Overview:

The Warehouse/Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth logistics control, and implementing operational solutions. This role requires strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills to manage resources efficiently, while maintaining a focus on punctuality, responsibility, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, handling, and storing inventory.
  • Ensure accurate stock management through inventory control, stock rotation, and regular audits.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse.

2.Logistics Control:

  • Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate dispatches.
  • Work closely with logistics partners to streamline delivery processes and resolve issues.
  • Manage and track the company lorry, ensuring proper usage, maintenance, and scheduling.

3.Operations Solutions:

  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to optimize warehouse and logistics functions.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure all processes comply with safety, legal, and company regulations.

4.Planning & Management:

  • Plan and oversee warehouse layout, allocation of staff resources, and logistics activities.
  • Forecast and manage inventory levels to ensure availability and prevent overstock or shortages.
  • Monitor and improve performance metrics such as delivery times, cost efficiency, and safety standards.

5.Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, marketing, and sales, to align warehouse and logistics efforts with business needs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to warehouse operations.

6.Managing Company Lorry:

  • Responsible for scheduling and overseeing the use of the company lorry for deliveries.
  • Ensure the lorry is properly maintained, serviced, and in compliance with safety standards.

7.Punctuality & Responsibility:

  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent punctuality and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Take ownership of warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management, operations, and logistics (minimum 2-3 years).
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license (GDL) and experience managing delivery vehicles.
  • Resilience, self-starter, and a team player.
