Key responsibilities

  • Risk assessment and hazard control: Conduct regular inspections and risk

assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Compliance monitoring: Ensure the organization adheres to all local, national,

and industry-specific health and safety laws and standards.

  • Employee training: Provide training and guidance to employees on safety

practices, emergency procedures, correct use of personal protective equipment

(PPE), and other training programs in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Safety Meetings: Ensure that daily Toolbox meeting is carried out before start of

work. Attend client and internal safety meetings and ensure timely

communication of safety information to management and workers.

  • Incident investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root

cause and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.

  • Record keeping: Prepare and maintain detailed records of safety inspections,

incidents, training, meetings, and other relevant documentation.

  • Safety culture promotion: Conduct safety campaigns to promote and foster a

culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role; experience in

construction activities.

  • Certified competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) registered with DOSH Malaysia

(Green Book holder).

  • Familiar with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA compliance frameworks and other Malaysian

regulations and enforcement standards

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM4, RM6,500.00 per month
