Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated M&E Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent client-facing and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of M&E projects (Mainly Electrical, Mechanical, ELV etc.), ensuring they meet all technical and contractual requirements.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers. Conduct regular meetings and prepare progress reports.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and motivate the project team, including Project Engineers, Supervisors, and Technicians.
  • Financial Control: Manage project budgets, track costs, control variations, and ensure timely billing, project progress claim and payment collection.
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures and strict adherence to safety regulations (DOSH/KKP).
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Documentation: Ensure all project documentation (drawings, AC reports, inspections, corresponding, manuals) is complete, updated, and properly handed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the M&E contracting industry.

· Strong knowledge of M&E systems, local building codes, and authority submission procedures. Must be able to understand, interpret, and ensure strict compliance with JKR standards and requirements for both documentation and on-site work.

  • Project Management Reporting, Documentation & Scheduling: MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
