We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Brand Senior Manager to lead the overall brand strategy, planning and execution. This role will be responsible for driving brand growth, enhancing market presence and ensuring alignment across all aspects of brand management, merchandising, store development and marketing communication.


Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct and analyze market research to understand industry trends, competition, and market environment.
  • Evaluate data to identify SWOT, competitive landscape, PESTEL, and other key insights.

Strategy & Planning

  • Define brand direction and establish brand guidelines.
  • Develop comprehensive branding strategies aligned with brand DNA.
  • Plan marketing mix and marketing strategies to drive sales, brand loyalty, and market share.

Implementation & Evaluation

  • Present marketing strategies and secure approval from Principal Office.
  • Lead internal brand alignment across the company.
  • Monitor sales performance, brand health, and regional market performance.
  • Re-strategize to ensure sales budgets and brand objectives are met.

Merchandising & Product Development

  • Review product sell-through reports to identify opportunities.
  • Provide bi-annual market demand insights to Principal Merchandising & R&D.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Merchandising teams to achieve commercial goals.
  • Participate in product sourcing, buying, and merchandising.
  • Present marketing strategies to Country CEOs and Buyers at Group Brand Presentations.

Store Development (VM & ID)

  • Collaborate with Store Development team on merchandising display plans, planograms and VM guidelines.
  • Review and approve store layouts, fit-out and renovation guidelines.

Marketing Communication

  • Work closely with Marcom team to design impactful campaigns aligned with brand strategy.
  • Review and approve marketing activities, events, POSM and related initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing or retail industry (with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role).
  • Strong background in brand strategy, marketing planning and product development.
  • Experience in retail, merchandising and store development is highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking with proven ability to drive commercial results.
