Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions across multiple entities within the group.
  • Supervise and provide hands-on support to the GL, Treasury, and AP teams.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, coaching, and mentoring of finance team members.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth documentation and information flow to the finance team.
  • Manage company cash flow, including timely collection and payment arrangements.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in handling full sets of accounts and monthly closings.
  • Prepare financial reports, conduct monthly finance meetings, and present updates to department heads and directors.
  • Implement and revise SOPs to support operational changes while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, partners) to ensure proper billing and collection.
  • Responsible for SST preparation, checking, and timely submission.
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax agents on year-end audit and tax matters.
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance and business-related assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in an Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax, SST (GST), and Malaysian financial regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to change and implement process improvements effectively.
