System-Specific Data Protection & Enhancement:

Review and enhance data security measures for current systems, including:

  • Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP)
  • Xilnex Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Company-owned mobile applications
  • Clinical System (primary system handling sensitive health records

Collaborate with IT and system vendors to ensure these platforms meet PDPA standards on data encryption, access control, and audit trails.

Monitoring and Auditing:

  • Conduct regular compliance assessments and data protection audits. Develop and maintain a data processing inventory.

Risk and Incident Management:

  • Lead incident response efforts for data breaches. Ensure notification of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner within 72 hours and affected individuals within 7 days, as legally required.

Training and Awareness:

  • Conduct training and awareness programs for staff on PDPA principles, especially those handling sensitive medical and patient data.

Patient Rights Management:

  • Manage and process patient requests for data access, correction, and portability.

Implementation & Testing:

  • Collaborate with development teams to implement new modules, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system changes align with business requirements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and support end-users during the transition to new systems.

Training & Documentation:

  • Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on Dynamics 365 Business Central and Xilnex POS functionalities
  • Create and update documentation, including process flows, technical guides, and training materials.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in information security, Data Governance, or a related discipline.
  2. Data Protection Officer certification (e.g., IAPP, PDPA Certified Practitioner) preferred.
  3. Minimum 3 years in data protection, compliance, or IT risk management (preferably within healthcare or regulated sectors).
  4. Strong familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central, Xilnex POS, mobile app platforms, and clinical systems is a major advantage.
  5. Strong understanding of PDPA and healthcare-specific privacy needs.
  6. Experience conducting system-level data protection assessments.
  7. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
  8. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, Legal, and Clinical. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise between business and technical teams.
