About the role

Rentasil Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) specialist to join their team in Tuaran, Sabah. As a QAQC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across all of the company's civil engineering projects. What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects.
  2. Conducting on-site inspections and monitoring to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant industry standards.
  3. Identifying and resolving quality issues in a timely manner, collaborating with project teams to implement corrective actions.
  4. Maintaining detailed documentation and records of quality control processes and outcomes.
  5. Providing technical guidance and training to construction teams on quality control best practices.
  6. Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a QAQC role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  3. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  5. Proficient in the use of quality control tools and software.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  7. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality management systems.
