We are looking for a passionate and capable Outlet Supervisor to join our team and help build Sabah's leading durian destination.


Job Summary

As an Outlet Supervisor, you will be the heart of the outlet, operating very much like a Store Manager. You will take full ownership of daily outlet operations, oversee the smooth coordination of the four key zones (Fresh Durian Zone, Dessert Zone, Gift & Souvenir Zone, and Dine-in Area), lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure sales targets and inventory accuracy are consistently achieved.


Key Responsibilities
1. Total Outlet Operations
  • Overall Operations Control: Responsible for daily opening and closing procedures, including outlet cleanliness, equipment checks, and cash reconciliation.

  • Coordination of Four Key Zones:

  • Fresh Durian Zone: Monitor durian quality (Quality Control), ensure attractive displays, and assist customers in selecting suitable durian profiles.

  • Dessert Zone: Supervise dessert preparation standards (SOP), serving speed, and food safety compliance.
  • Gift & Souvenir Zone: Ensure timely replenishment, neat merchandising, and drive up-selling opportunities.
  • Dine-in Area: Maintain high cleanliness standards to ensure a comfortable customer experience.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints, equipment issues, and manpower adjustments promptly and effectively.

2. Team Management & Leadership
  • Scheduling & Attendance: Plan staff schedules to ensure sufficient manpower during peak hours.
  • Training & Coaching: Train new staff on product knowledge, service etiquette, and sales techniques; conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Team Motivation: Foster a positive work environment and lead the team toward achieving sales targets.

3. Inventory & Cash Management
  • Inventory Control: Monitor daily fresh durian wastage, manage dessert ingredients and souvenir stock, and conduct regular stock counts.
  • Cash Handling: Oversee daily sales reconciliation and ensure financial accuracy.

4. Customer Service & Sales
  • Customer Experience Excellence: Ensure every customer enjoys warm, professional service from entry to exit.
  • Sales Promotion: Be highly familiar with all product offerings and proactively recommend products (e.g., souvenirs for tourists, fresh durian tasting), to increase average transaction value.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail, F&B, or service-related industries preferred.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in Mandarin (mandatory) for Chinese-speaking tourists and internal communication; English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.
  • Leadership Qualities: Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Product Passion: Passion for durians, desserts, and tourism retail (durian lovers are a plus).
  • Working Hours: Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
