Position Overview

The Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) is a key executive responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen market position. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to achieve business objectives and build a customer-centric organization. The CSMO collaborates with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing efforts with the overall corporate vision.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership

  2. Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies to achieve company revenue and market share goals.

  3. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  4. Establish long-term business plans, including sales forecasting and marketing budget allocation.

  5. Introduce new products/services to the market that present sustainable value to the company

  6. Sales Management

  7. Lead the sales team in setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.

  8. Design and implement sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

  10. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to the executive team.

  11. Marketing Leadership

  12. Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and equity.

  13. Oversee the quality, content, and production of ads including for print, video, audio and online media; ensure that the ads articulate accurate information, provide the right message to customers, and positions the brand as desired.
  14. Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, content marketing, social media, and email campaigns.
  15. Launch targeted marketing campaigns to acquire and retain customers, leveraging data-driven insights.

  16. Manage public relations, events, and other promotional activities to ensure consistent brand representation.

  17. Team Development

  18. Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing sales and marketing teams.

  19. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the organization.

  20. Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.

  21. Data and Analytics

  22. Utilize analytics to measure the success of sales and marketing initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

  23. Oversee the implementation and optimization of CRM and marketing automation tools.

  24. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, providing actionable insights.

  25. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  26. Partner with product development, customer service, and other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts.

  27. Serve as a voice of the customer to inform product and service innovations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM8,000.00 per month
