Position Overview:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the organization's daily operations and ensuring its alignment with the company's strategic goals. The COO works closely with the CEO and executive team to implement effective business strategies, improve operational efficiency, and drive sustainable growth. This role is critical for fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the company's vision, mission, and long-term strategy.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans.
  • Monitor industry trends, opportunities, and risks to inform decision-making.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations, including production, supply chain, customer service, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all business functions are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Financial Oversight

  • Partner with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Optimize resource allocation and operational costs to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor department heads and teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

Risk and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards across all operations.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Uphold ethical business practices and organizational integrity.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, partnerships, and public engagements.
  • Provide transparent and timely updates to the CEO and board of directors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7, RM9,000.00 per month
