We are currently seeking a Graduate Accounts Executive, to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.

Successful candidates would be offered fixed term of employment of 2 years contract.

About the mission we offer you:

•      Performs general ledger and financial reporting functions.

Main Challenges

• Tight deadlines during quarter reporting and financial audit.

Main Accountabilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, reports and schedules.
• Prepare monthly bank movement analysis.
• Prepare revenue and expenses analysis schedule.
• Prepare monthly AR and AR transaction information and collect supporting documents for submission to tax agent for review and the preparation of monthly tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly HFM reporting and appendices for assigned entities, including working file preparation and system inputs.
• Prepare quarterly Flux reports.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, conduct variance analysis, and resolve open items/issues.
• Upload and post journal entries in the system.
• Perform monthly foreign exchange revaluation process.
• Prepare contract assets and liabilities schedules for quarter closing purposes.
• Perform reconciliation for Project Module versus General Ledger Module and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations, accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in drafting of annual statutory accounts including statement of financial position, statement of comprehensive income, statement of changes in equity, statement of cash flows and notes to the financial statements.
• Liaise with external auditors as and when required.
• Support any related ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, professional qualification or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate are encourage to apply.
• Experience in audit, financial reporting, and/or Oracle system will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and as part of the team as and when required.
• Fluent in English.
• Detail-oriented.
• Able to manage tight deadlines.
• Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders on relevant issues
