About the Role

Perpilion (Malaysia) is looking for a Junior Business Development Executive (Fresh Graduate) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to learn, proactive, and interested in building a long-term career in Business Development within a professional consulting and technical services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development team with market research and lead identification, guided by the Business Development Manager.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining client and lead information using Excel and CRM tools (training will be provided).
  • Support outbound outreach activities (email and LinkedIn) based on target direction and client lists provided by the BD Manager.
  • Assist the team in coordinating client meetings, including coffee meetings, online calls, presentations, and client office visits.
  • Support capability presentations and client engagement activities, with guidance and supervision.
  • Assist in tender and proposal support activities, including document coordination and preparation.
  • Support digital marketing content planning and industry event research for BD and marketing visibility.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity updates following simple reporting templates.
  • Work closely with the BD Manager and follow departmental instructions, timelines, and processes.
  • Provide general support for marketing and event planning activities when required.

  • Structured onboarding and on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Exposure to real client engagements, BD strategy, and industry practices.
  • Guidance and mentoring from the Business Development Manager.
  • Clear performance expectations and regular feedback to support learning and growth.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in Business Development, client engagement, and learning about industries.
  • Willingness to learn and work with Excel, email communication, and CRM systems (training provided; HubSpot experience is an advantage).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable interacting with people and supporting networking or client-related activities.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work under guidance and supervision.
