Role & responsibilities
- Welcoming customers with a friendly demeanour, offering product information, and assisting them in finding items.
- Understanding and promoting current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product areas meet merchandising standards.
- Answering customer inquiries regarding products, store policies, and services, providing knowledgeable and helpful responses to enhance satisfaction.
- Assisting in inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock or product discrepancies to management.
- Supporting loss prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor, reporting suspicious activity, and following security policies.
- Collaborating with fellow team members to achieve sales targets, meet store goals, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Reporting to the Store Manager ensuring that daily tasks align with store goals and standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven experience (3 5 years) as a Sales Executive or in a similar role, preferably in jewellery or high-end retail.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of being a persuasive spokesperson for the brand.
- Knowledge of the gold jewellery market and latest trends.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office / Computers in general
- A positive and energetic personality, with a customer-oriented approach.
- A problem-solver with a knack for creative and strategic thinking.
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Sales, or relevant field; additional certification in Retail Management is a plus.
- Tamil speaking is a MUST
